BRICS Young Experts Summit

During a session campers prepare for the summit by:

  • Training in public speaking;

  • Studying international relations;

  • Analyzing economic indicators of BRICS countries;

  • Assessing and planning future scenarios;

  • Making their proposals on how to solve tasks set by the BRICS Governing Council.

The experience that leads to the summit at the end of the session becomes a fun and exciting educational practice that builds on instructional scaffolding. This format of learning beyond the classroom contributes to youth empowerment in many ways. Students gain a wide range of practical knowledge for professional fulfillment in the integrated international BRICS space, from public speaking skills to project development, from market research to logistics, from the art of negotiation to peacemaking diplomacy.
Hands-on practices and workshops as part of the international syllabus are aimed at building a new type of labor pool with:

  • The ability to adapt to the changing technologies;

  • A knowledge of digital transformation of major economic industries;

  • Soft skills;

  • An understanding of professional integrative competences that are in demand for the emerging economy.

SESSION GOALS

  • To GIVE
    An idea of the key aspects of cross-cultural professional communication in international business communication and strategies of BRICS sustainable development;
  • To INTRODUCE
    Young people to the world of global competences, the basics and the strategic role of digital transformation of the economy and business, artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies, which are crucial to the industrial potential of the countries within the next decade;
  • To TEACH
    Young people how to solve problems and come up with innovative ideas, to expose them to new ways and methods of developing business strategies;
  • To EMPHASIZE
    The role of young diplomats in fostering international relations, creating new markets and digital space for economic cooperation with friendly nations;
  • To INTRODUCE
    Young people to the methods and technologies of innovation management in political, economic, social and humanitarian sectors.

BRICS campers explore:

  • Diplomacy and conflict-free communication;

  • International trade and business practices in BRICS countries;

  • The role of English speaking and professional cross-cultural communication skills in the integrated international BRICS space;

  • Sustainable development issues, such as ecological challenges, global warming, food crisis;

  • Psychology behind consumerism;

  • The cultural code of BRICS countries.
